Vector :
- the graphic is in .ai file, .eps file, .pdf file or .svg file
- composed by line, that is straight or curved
- scaleable to any sizes
Raster :
- the graphic is .jpg file, .gif file, .png file or .tif file
- composed by pixels of various colours that will form up an image
- loses quality when scaled
